Journey Toward Reverence: A Hip, Heart & Hamstring Opening Odyssey
Using Chanting, Asana & Breath as the gateway, you will begin to contemplate your own relationship with reverence. What it is that you hold as sacred? Drawing from stories about Hanuman, the great monkey God, discover your own capacity for Bhakti (devotion), all while buttering up your hamstrings and tenderizing your heart. This afternoon will leave you feeling inspired, in-love with your life, and amazed by what you discover is possible when practiced with reverence and devotion.

Come to a special 2 hour practice with Natalie at NJ YogaZone! This workshop will include shvitzy, active asanas for most of the workshop and then some blissful restorative shapes. We will flow and move in ways that prepare the body to go upside down, ultimately moving towards Sirsasana, or Headstand. If you are newer to headstand, we will go over ways to make it less foreign to you and more practicable. If you have a regular headstand practice, we will work on more advanced variations.

Flying From the Foundation and Core - 2 to 4pm
What you do (or don't) with your foundation and deeper core alignment can either give you more benefits for your time spent on the mat, or sabotage even your best intentions. Flow through a mindful, creative Core Strength Vinyasa sequence Sadie designed to teach you how to activate your earth to core connection in every pose, to help you finally attain more lightness and power in all your poses, and specifically the elusive floating postures like jumping forward, arm balances and inversions. We build all poses from the ground up, so beginners are always welcome! Mostly asana.

The Prenatal Yoga classes provide an opportunity for an expectant woman to develop greater vitality and awareness of her body that is home for two, as well as to deepen her relationship with her baby. Gentle postures, breath work, visualization, vocal toning and meditation are learned to cultivate flexibility, calm and confidence in preparation for labor and childbirth. Women are empowered to enhance their ability to access greater relaxation, comfort, and enjoyment. Prenatal Yoga eases the birthing process by reducing pain and increasing the joy of giving birth. Yoga is a wonderful opportunity for expectant mothers to tone and stretch while at the same time lower blood pressure, increase oxygenation, learn breath control, and most especially, connect with their bodies and their babies.
Prenatal students are welcome to attend all yoga classes.
However, those students new to yoga should not begin with an advanced class.
Prenatal students may register for the prenatal class ($69) OR unlimited yoga for $75 for 5 weeks (this can be renewed every 5 weeks)

While the Pilates mat work is fantastic on its own, the Magic Circle adds a fun and challenging dimension to it that can't be beat! This simple little prop will changes everything! It's no wonder it was a favorite of Mr. Pilates himself! Come challenge yourself...and have fun! This class is open to Pilates enthusiasts and teachers! All are welcome!
Group classes and Semi-Privates are a reality in modern day Pilates, but were you ever really trained on how to make them successful? Shari will teach you the guidelines, tools and techniques to easily teach flowing, fun and fantastic Groups and Semi-Private Sessions on all Apparatus. Learn to mix up what you are teaching to add variety, and also how to work with multiple levels of clients at one time so they can grow individually. Be ready to learn and practice these skills in this dynamic workshop!

Yoga is a discipline that can lead kids on the path toward a calm and balanced mind, as well as help them build a strong as flexible body - tools they can use everyday! Kids that practice yoga develop physical strength and flexibility and a better ability to concentrate and focus. Yoga provides inner strength, confidence and body awareness while offering a sense of self-control and relaxation.

This class combines yoga and play to get your pre-baby shape back! Learn calming techniques for your little one as you stretch growing muscles, aid in digestion and promote better sleeping patterns. This natural alignment also marks the first day of spring!
Yin & Yang Yoga: enjoy one hour of delicious sweaty flow, followed by one hour of deep, intense stretching. Local band, Love & Branca will serenade us the entire time! Feel the vibrations, enjoy the sensations and chill out to some groovy tunes!
